RELEASE GUIDELINES & ARTIST Q&A

What audio formats are required for submission?

You must submit the final audio tracks in uncompressed WAV (44.1 kHz) and MP3 (320 kbps) formats.

What are the visual asset and artwork requirements?

Cover artwork and artist promotional photos must be provided in JPG or PNG format with a minimum resolution of 3000x3000 px.

What metadata and release details must I include?

Include the track lyrics as a .txt file, your desired release date, a short artist biography, and a 2-3 sentence press pitch describing the release.

Where will my music be released?

Your music is distributed globally to all major digital service providers (such as Spotify and Apple Music) as well as user-generated content platforms (like YouTube and TikTok).

How long does it take for my song to be released?

It takes exactly 7 days from the moment your final submission and metadata are approved. After 7 days, your song is guaranteed to be officially released and live across all major global streaming platforms.

How does the revenue split work?

Under our standard agreement, 30% of net revenue is allocated to our distribution partner network, 20% is retained by OXYIN Records, and the remaining 50% is paid directly to the artist (you). This split applies to all monetization forms, including streaming, publishing, and sync licensing.

When and how do I get paid?

Royalty reports are issued monthly, within 45 days after the end of a given month. Payouts are processed 15 days after the report is issued, provided your account has reached the minimum payment threshold of €200. Payments are issued in dollars ($) via PayPal transfer.

Can I distribute these songs elsewhere?

No, the distribution rights for any submitted track are exclusive to our network. You cannot upload the same tracks through other distributors or independently to digital platforms.

How long is my music tied to the label?

While the general contract term is for 1 year, the exclusive distribution rights for each individually submitted track remain active for 10 years from the date it is accepted or first released. Additionally, you are required to release all new music exclusively through the label for the first two years after signing the agreement.

Is my music protected on social media?

Yes, your tracks are registered with audio fingerprinting and rights management systems, such as YouTube Content ID and Meta Rights Manager. This allows the label to block or monetize any unauthorized user-generated videos that feature your music.

Do you pitch music for commercials, games, or visual media?

The label has the right to negotiate and pitch your tracks for synchronization deals in audiovisual content and games, but any sync placement requires your prior consent.
